When I first heard Dan Bryant in the studio working on Hexx’s second record “Under The Spell”, I knew he had a rare talent and when Marty Friedman and Jason Becker chose him to be their lead singer in the last version of Cacophony, they could hear it too. Through the years Dan has continued to write and record original music because it is in his blood and that’s what he does and he does it well. His new CD with his band The Road Vikings more than aptly demonstrates this. Featuring Dan on lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, and harmonica it’s quickly apparent that his voice has only gotten better over the years and his guitar playing adds yet another important dimension to the band’s intense Euro-power metal sound.
The CD sounds really good and the artwork is really professional too. You can feel proud of that record from performance to packaging.
